Welcome to the EMAS page

EMAS is the Ethnic Minority Achievement Service.

The service works towards making sure that all students are given the best possible opportunity to achieve their potential in all school subjects – regardless of their ethnicity, colour, religion, country of origin, first language or culture.

We do this in many ways.

Some of the work is with students and some of the work is with staff.

Students who need support with class work, homework, coursework or who have other difficulties can see Ms. Bloor. She will support in any way possible and try to solve any difficulties which may be getting in the way of learning.

EMAS also helps to ensure that minority ethnic students are fully and equally represented in the life of the school and that all cultures are celebrated so that we can truly call ourselves an inclusive, multi-racial school.
