Welcome to the Student Council

Hi! We are the Student Council. Who are we? We are a group of students who were voted on to the council by our peers. 4 students, per year, get elected onto the council in year 7. We talk about, and try to fix, key issues that affect students in a hope to make the student voice heard. What do we do? We hold meetings every fortnight, discussing key issues raised by staff and students. We also help with the interview process, which means we get a say in which teachers are employed. We also raise issues in meetings that students have reported to us, and we try and take appropriate action. Student Council
