For over a decade, Music Academy Nottingham has been providing high quality music tuition to schools across Nottinghamshire. Music Academy Notts aims to provide a rounded music education, providing online resources and blog posts to enhance the pupil’s experience.
Aimee has been a clarinetist and pianist for the past 16 years, and has performed all over the UK and the world with groups including the National Youth Orchestra Inspire program, Nottingham Youth Orchestra and Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra. Aimee’s teaching experience spans almost a decade, and in recent times she has specialised in working with SENDCO children.
Ashley began playing the piano and violin as a boy and then developed an interest in percussion. He has conducted a number of different groups in both London and locally. Ashley has extensive performing experience, in addition to founding and leading many musical groups in schools and the wider community. As a teacher Ashley has worked at all levels form beginners to undergraduate both in individual and class settings.
