The D&T and Arts department are passionate about creativity for many reasons, and using creativity to help us in these uncertain times is one way that we all can express ourselves!
Many studies show, that creativity is good for you. One study says, the stress-related hormone cortisol lowers significantly, after just 45 minutes of doing artwork, or other creative work.
Over the past few weeks the D&T and Arts department have been trying to set creative projects for our students to get involved with. Some of these projects include: making something textile/art based at home; cooking or baking with an adult at home and making a product from card.
Both Mrs Sheldon the Head of D&T and Mrs Barnes Head of Art have been overwhelmed by the excellent work that has come through and would like to share this with you all.
