Vote 100 Service at Southwell Minster
On 25th November, Genevieve, one of our Year 12 students, was invited to read a scripture passage at Southwell Minster as part of the Vote 100 service – celebrating 100 years since women first got the vote. Genevieve said “The service was very moving; it was exciting to be there and, as a young woman, it was really empowering to hear about the progression of women in society since we first got the vote. I was honoured to have played an active part in such an important service of remembrance and recognition”.
