Our A-Level historians recently attended a ‘History in Action’ conference in London, on the subject of the 1917 Russian Revolution and the events of the following years. Students heard from 5 world-renowned Historians who all specialise in the subject and have published several works in this area. Students were given a taste of Higher Education and lecture-style teaching whilst also engaging with content supporting their A-Level exams. The students came away with valuable learning as well as a renewed sense of the grandeur and significance of studying history in today’s world.
