Year 9 NCOP visit to the University of Nottingham

On Wednesday 4th March 2020, a group of 27 year 9 students visited the University of Nottingham as part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme. Students participated in workshops exploring transferable skills and took advantage of the opportunity to improve their own skills in communication, problem solving and creativity, through clever puzzles and games! Many students on the trip have said that their highlight of the day was a tour of the University Park campus, broadening their horizons by visiting the library, the arts and drama hub, lecture halls, seminar rooms and even student accommodation! The students made The Nottingham Emmanuel School proud as their behaviour was exemplary on a day where they developed their transferable skills and raised their aspirations to go to university!
